Energy efficient bulb
Discussion
Don't forget they are tungsten-halogen, not just tungsten, therefore significantly more efficient than "traditional" lamps(bulbs) to start with. For refernce the Philips Tungsten Halogen "energy efficient" replacement bulbs are 70W for a 100W tungsten equivalent.
There is this though, which will save a bit

bit doubt the outlay is worth it for the energy saving?
