I need 7 6ft by 6ft panels and 7 concrete posts and gravel boards

Anyone know somewhere cheap to get them from? Prices of £15+ for the panels are a bit too high for me!

I am located in Hampshire but happy to buy from anywhere that will deliver.

That seems very cheap to me - they cost that much years ago before the Chinese bought all the wood!

It cost me £15 each for some 6x4s...that price for 6x6 seems quite good...

I've seen a few packs go on ebay for about £10 each but they tend to be too far away from where I live.

Must be somesort of mass retailer that does em in the £10-12 range somwhere douwn south?

For the quantity you want £15 per panel is a very good price.

If you only want seven & are happy to pay £12 each is it worth all the time & effort trying to find cheap panels just to save £20 on the whole job? I sell a lot of these but I would advise you to beware as panels can vary in quality & cheap ones are often a false economy.

Good luck

Wait until your employer says 'Hey, Moojoo, will you do the same work for 20% less?'

A born negotiator!

Good luck with the panels - if you start a business called 'Moojoo Fencing Supplies (Never Knowingly Undersold)' you'll be able to pinch a few free ones from stock biggrin

b&q do a basic 6x6 for £10 a panel and will deliver. these are the cheapest i've found but they did look a bit scabby to me. i ended up getting their branded ones for £14.97ea + vat. these are better made and are pre-treated and painted.

if you buy them this week they have an offer of 15% off. you don't have to take delivery this week, just pay for them by friday to qualify for the discount.

Fair enough.

Calculate your own time spent tyring to find panels for a tenner & you might find its a false economy.

Either way, do be carefull & make sure you look carefully at what you buy. The cheap ones have weaker framework & less uprights & are very flimsy by comparison to the better quality ones.

If you have a panel manufacturer near you they might be worth a try to see if they will deal with you. I buy & sell thousands of fence panels a year but Im London based so cant help unless you want to collect....& pay a bit morebiggrin

Whatever panels I but I will need to PAINT them.

Can you buy something that both paints and treats them at the same time?

All of the other fence panels in my garden (owned by the neighbours) are unpainted and by the looks of it untreated.
