what vacum cleaner/ Miele discounts??

Looking at buying a Miele 5280 vacum cleaner as our 10year old Miele has finaly died.

As we only have wooden and tiled floors through out, are their any particular recommendations from people?

If not anyone know the cheapest place to pick up Miele stuff (direct trading shop etc?), or is John Lewis the best bet?

Anyone tried one of those robot ones?? Are they just a gimmick or do they clean well??

As for Miele a quick search shows a few different prices online. Try q site through quidco to get extra discount.
