How to keep dogs out of my garden!
Discussion
As per the title really - I'm fed up of dogs crapping on my front lawn, the local approach to dog ownership seems to be to let the f*ckers roam the streets rather than walk 'em...
What I'm after is an effective way to deter the filthy mongrels from coming into my garden - have seen ultrasonic things and chemicals that claim to repel dogs, do these actually work?
My house has two ungated driveway entrances, however both are a fair bit wider than average so the obvious solution of getting gates fitted is far too expensive at the mo!
(If it was legal I'd set claymores in the lawn for the dogs and invest in an elephant gun for the owners... )

o.k. try this I have seen it used before , plastic 1ltr bottles with water in them around the garden , dogs wont crap were water is is the theory
any ideas for magpies would help
I'll tell that to our black lab that crapped in a rock pool the ONE and ONLY time we took him to the beach. Unfortunately the little poo bags I'd taken were ineffective at said crap retrieval and I wasn't going to borrow some child's fishing net to extract it. Bloody animal.any ideas for magpies would help
I can imagine the parents horror now as their child proudly showed them their plastic bucket proudly containing the sizeable brown fish they'd just caught. "What's that you've caught Henry, a brown fish you say. Ohh God no....."

Never heard this theory but my dog regularly hangs his ass over the banking and craps in the river.any ideas for magpies would help
Funny when he tries to turn and nearly falls in.
