Estate agency - sole agent sale - but letting?
Discussion
Quickie in here -
If our agreement with our extate agency for the sale of our house was from April - June
is there anything to stop us putting it up "to let" with another agent?
(IIRC the paperwork is for sale only)
I just need a contingency really, as our buyer has yet to book a survey - and i'm starting to get nervous -
just to compound matters Mrs Bergs is due our first child on the 31st July
any advice gratefull recieved!

ETA I originslly completely misread your post, thought you were trying to sell through multiple agents.
I suspect it may be down to the small print in your contract, but I know for a fact that homes for sale in my area are also advertised to let through different letting agents, however there's no 'to let' boards erected (they are advertised online however) so I don't know if the estate agents are aware of that fact or how above board it is.
