Window coverings question
Discussion
In my house I have taken down all but 1 set of the hideous vertical blinds which were there when I moved in. The set that I have left are up against the main bedroom window.
I'm not a fan of net curtains either, but walking down my road most people either have the vertical blinds or nets, so i'm turning to you lot for a stylish alternative.
I am happy to have bare windows in the lounge and at the back of the house but feel I need something up against the bedroom window - it just doesn't feel right that people can look into your bedroom! The window is quite wide so horizontal blinds aren't really an option - what would you suggest?
Cheers

That's a dangerous thing to say on PH...Curtains work for me.
I should have said, I do have curtains but they are blackout ones. I am after something which lets the natural light in, but offers a degree of privacy for those times when you get changed during the day or don't want the world looking in!!
Thanks Robin Hood for the shutter link, will get some info on those.
