A decent lettings agent that services the Elephant and Castle area?

I am looking to get a 1 bedroom place around the end of August/beginning of September for £850-950pcm. I have been doing my homework and know what I can get for my money, all I need now is a decent lettings agent.

I have been through Foxtons and Haart before and, surprisingly enough, Foxtons were OK but Haart were the biggest bunch of morons I had to deal with.

Has anybody had any particularly good dealings with agents around this area?

Thanks

EJ

Surely it doesn't matter a damn?

You rent a flat, and a by product of that is dealing with the letting agents. Not the other way round.

£850 - £950 per month for a flat in Zone 1 (albeit in a stty area) is a tad optimistic, imho.

I went to Ui there, trust me when I say it is a sthole of the first order. There is a massive re-development program happening though so it won't be eventually, but for now it most certainly still is. There are a few new build pseudo-modern flats down the Walworth road on your right but they are seriously pricey.
I could track down the name of the lettings agency, if your interested PM me.

I used to live in the student halls on the Walworth Road and absolutely loved it there. I have seen plenty of places available that tick all my boxes around the area, coming from Mile End I am not really phased by what I see around Elephant!

Erm, that doesn't really make sense. I am looking for a recommendation of a good agent in the area, most of the places I have viewed are on with two or three of the same agents. I am mainly moving to Elephant for its convenience and I don't want all this fked up by stty useless agents, as happened with my last property!
