Sisal - anyone have it?
Discussion
I like the idea of having sisal laid in our hall, stairs and landing but OH is rolling his eyes and saying it's one of these fashion things that is more looks over substance.
Does anyone have it in their home? Is it hardwearing/stain resistant? Not just sisal but also jute/coir - anyone's experiences of it (and the more positive comments the better!) appreciated.

I have Seagrass, noticeable signs of wear after 10 years. I love it though although it takes some getting used to with bare feet. O/H laid Sisal on his own last year in bedrooms and stairs. It just glues down so is simple enough to do. You must leave it to aclimatise to the surroundings before laying it though as it does shrink slightly. I'd choose it over carpet any day
