How would you guys go about selling a washing machine that was bought in error apart from the obvious - ebay and offering to mates??

Local papers often have free ads.

I hate it when that happens. You drop your guard for a moment and before you know it, you've ordered a dozen washing machines you didn't want.

How about PH Classifieds?

I got a splendid deal on my washing machine last year. I'd bought all my new kitchen appliances from a Siemens dealer, and they rang me up asking if I was interested in a slightly-used Siemens washing machine for £300. It had been fitted in a showhome, but the people who bought the house wanted to upgrade to a washer dryer. Hence the dealer had a perfectly good WM knocking about. I offered £200 and they accepted biggrin
