Climbers - the growing type.
Discussion
The neighbours have kindly got a contractor to add an ornamental top to our party fence and paint the whole of their site navy blue. Of course however they have done a crap job and the topping isnt even straight and we now have a multicoloured fence with blue splatters.
Rather than make a fuss and get them to fix it all, I will kill two birds with one stone and get something to grow over the fence.
The fence is 6ft high and we have the side which only really has shade. Secondly there is only 4ft between the fence and our conservatory so I would need something pretty flat to the fence.
I already have a Virginia Creeper and Hyreangea up the side of the house, but would prefer something evergreen to cover the fence so I don't have to see it!
Any ideas?

I should point out that whilst ivy will cling on like a drowning man, evergreen honeysuckle throws out tendrils which need something to grip - so you'll need a trellis or wires. Mine's gone a bit beserk and is currently going up the apple tree - I can't disentangle it! - so be ready.
