Where can I get some of this?

(the 100mm poles, not the metal bit!)

what sort of lengths? Garden centres do them as large stakes, or forestry commissions usually sell them.

should be quite easy to get at that length - look up the nearest sawmill / forestry comm. or timber merchant, they are nothing special just 100mm full round Tanalised poles! If there is a fencing place near you they'll do them as well.

I could do with the metal bits shown in that pic, any ideas?

ETA, I've now clicked on the pics' properties and have found the supplier.

I can supply them, but only in the London area.

Any timber merchant worth their salt should be able to help, just ask for 100mm machined round posts.

Good luck

Thanks. Not sure what the rolleyes is all about. Presumably that I am very stupid and didn't know that they are called "machined round poles". Or possibly that I said "Sarf" in response to the location stated in your profile.

Anyway, I think I have found a local supplier. I only need 3 posts so many of the suppliers that come up seem unlikely to be too excited about delivering what amounts to £9 worth of wood.

I don't think he realised that you were hoping for PH recommendations, which are more useful than finding 'XYZ Cheap Pole Co' on Google.
