hello

i've got hardwood windows in my house, they are about 15 years old and some of the double glazing is starting to go misty. i assume the seals are leaking, water vapour is getting in and i'm seeing condensation

so i reckon to get it fixed i need to either buy new UPVC windows all round, or get a joiner in to take the existing windows to bits, clean them up and then rebuild them

does that sound about right? if so does anyone have a rough idea of cost for the joiner (10 windows, standard bovis home 4 bed type place) , and any recommendations for a joinery company to use?

thanks in advance?

It does sound like the units have failed, might end up cheaper to replace the lot with new windows than faff about replacing every unit.
