Guys,

We have a number of sunflower seeds growing on the window sill in the kitchen. They are all now about 2" tall when should they be moved outside?

Should we repot them into large pots or plant them directly outside?

At the sametime we planted some passion flower seeds but nothing so far....

Cheers,
Phill

Don't plant them out until there is no chance of frost and low temperatures.
It's probably worth keeping them in the pots they're in as potting on (to larger ones) will only disturb them....unless there are roots struggling to get out of the pots they are currently in that is.

First week of May should be OK for putting them straight in the ground smile

For sunflowers i've used those cardboard type pots that break up when the plant grows. If they are giant sunflowers, they'll out grow most pots pretty quick.
