Getting rid of foxes
Discussion
Will watch this with interest as I have the same problem.
Was finding bloody great big holes dug under my conifers and plants torn up.
Didn't have a clue what was doing it until I got up in the night and saw the security lights on in the garden highlighting 3 of the feckers trashing everything.
There is some stuff on google but can't find any definite recommendations.

1) Remove what's attracting them. They must believe there's food available
2) Make it too hard to get into your garden. Raise the fence with some trellis. Carpet gripper if you must - although you'd better growing something spiny up it to avoid controversy. Roses or hawthorn maybe.
3) If all else fails obtain some professional pest control help. They have access to and expertise in the kinds of deterrents and poisons that are necessary - and if you're going to have anything deadly/nasty/horrib in your garden you sure as s**t don't want your kids/pets chowing down on it.
