I'm closing on a new apartment today, and on the final walkthrough noticed some small dog beds that had not been there when the apartment was staged for sale.

Now I'm not worried about pets (they arent uncommon) but want to make sure all pet hair, dander etc is cleaned when we deep clean the place. Are there any wierd places where this can collect i might not catch?

One thing i am thinking is to have all the ducts and vents cleaned out.

Along with a good vacuum into the corners, you could try this stuff.
May take a couple of goes but it's the best I've found when we get a problem.

Dog hair can collect under and behind kitchen appliances such as washing machines etc., if they are being left. Also it gets behind the kitchen kick boards, worth pulling off once in a while.
Otherwise its just carpet edges and corners. Stuff like that.
