Hi all,

I want to fit a water filter on the kitchen tap only (rest of house is softened) for drinking water and cooking etc.

Looking at Water2 - mainly as I keep seeing them advertised and regularly on offer for £99 but are there any better and cheaper alternatives? (The water2 website is also enough to put me off ordering from them!)

I want something that can handle the flow of a 15mm pipe and not wanting to see a noticeable reduction in pressure although a small amount will be fine and potentially balance the hot and cold better.

Interested to hear from anyone who has fitted a Water2 and can give a review / opinion?

Thanks for this - I didn't think it was relevant until I read your post!

Yeah, I did wonder is Water2 was a load of marketing sh*t...

Thanks, I like that.. £37 currently, last 6 months and 15mm push fit.

How often do you change yours and did you notice a pressure drop when fitted and during service life?

The water 2 adverts are enough to put me off.
