Hi PH'ers,

I require the services of a Boundary Surveyor to assist with a potential boundary dispute. I was wondering if anyone can recommend one?

The site is located in the South East although someone based elsewhere isn't an issue.

Thank you!

These guys: https://boundaries.net/

Always used them as my expert witnesses in boundary disputes for clients.

You will now this already I am sure but the cost will be high and it will run for years. A close neighbour wom one about a year ago. £20k and 2 years. Another is in the middle of one now. I appreaicte there maybe no other way but if there is take it

Second the above recommendation (David Powell)

Also Schofield’s Surveyors based in London (don’t know how to link…)

As above, as hard as it might be, try EVERY avenue to resolve it amicably, as disputes rarely end up with anything other than both sides spending a lot of money on professional fees and hating each other.

If you don’t want to pay London fees I can highly recommend Jason at https://www.cubedltd.co.uk/about.html

He works all over the UK and has done lots of expert witness work and does boundary disputes. I used to work with him and he’s very very good and will give you a very honest appraisal of his thoughts on the matter.

I have been helping a friend out who has an ongoing boundary dispute... the first action was to get a boundary survey done:

https://boundaries.net/

But these things are not straightforward at all! The survey is only an 'opinion' from the surveyor and the neighbour can, of course, have his own survey done which could be contradictory.

Good luck! smile
