Extension planning costs - 3m X 3m

Hi all,

Been quite a few years since I last got an extension done so costs will have changed...

I need a small extension on top of my existing garage to match properties in my road. It is max 3m X 3m.

There is some complication in the build as the roof needs to link into a loft conversion.

What sort of costs am I looking at for the documents required for planning and building control?

I don't think an architect is needed as there is no special design requirements so an "architecture technician" should be able to provide what is needed.

This is in Surrey/London border so cost will be higher than the rest of the country....
