Electric opaque glass in a sash window

Hi all
I am doing a large refurb and was interested if anyone has used electric opaque glass before?

We are looking at having sash windows installed but since sash slide up and down, I am not sure whether or not i can even use electric opaque glass. How will i be able to have a cable track up and down to enable/disable the electric opaque glass?

One option is to remove the slide function on the sash and just allow them to tilt. Not ideal really

Any other suggestions?

What sort of electric is it? If it's something non-lethal like scalexctric you could have a couple of thin aluminium strips on the frame with a cupola the pickup contacts from the bottom of the car on the window.

Could it be powered by a battery set into the frame?
