Hello

looking to block the top of the drive off with something. a fence seems cheapest and easiest however as the top is concrete i don't really want to be renting and using tools to dig it all out.

i cant really find anything such as no dig fences etc and wondering what people think is best?

area to cover is an L shape and approx 10 feet one way and 15 the other.

thanks

You could find someone to just excavate the portholes for you and DiY the rest?

I have seen bolt-down post holders which I’m sure would do the job unless it’s a particularly tall fence in a windswept location.

If the concrete is adequate, 'bolt down post shoes' are a good solution.

Obviously a tall fence can exert some leverage. Which could break a thin skin of concrete, or pull fixings out.

I once tried drilling for Rawlbolt type fixings and the concrete broke up, so I ended up concreting in some fixings...

A decent SDS drill is your friend.
