Shark vac no suction

Our shark cordless vac has no suction even when I take all the filters off inc the internal motor filter. I've disconnected all the pipe and roller. Makes a strange sucking sound as well. Any ideas?

You checked the flexible hose for blockages, particularly where it folds away 180 degrees?

It's blocked somewhere. Our dyson does this, usually with dog hair

Ours needed blowing out with a compressor, then it was much better.

Also, if it’s the same model as ours the seal at the bottom of the canister failed.

In the end I bought a whole new unit from eBay

Is it still under warranty?

If so get in tocuh with their customer services who are really good - they recently sent me a whole new unit when I had a similar issue (plus certain bits previously which fixed it short term).

Ours was solid with a sweet paper & hair at the flexi folding joint. Required considerable poking with a garden cane to loosen it as well.
