Paint to cover self level compound in garage floor?
Discussion
My garage/barn has just had a cement based self levelling compound applied across it. This is now dry and all good. On top will be going 20 mm rubber gym tiles.
The original plan was to lay these directly onto the grey self levelling compound surface-however, if I get 20 cm from the floor and look at the gaps between the tiles from a very specific angle, I can occasionally see about 1 mm of the underlying floor between the rubber tiles where the corners meet.
This is sending my autism spectrum disorder into hyperdrive so it needs fixing!
What is the simplest type of paint I can slap on that self levelling compound so that the floor is entirely black and no bit of grey will show through from above? Doesn’t need to be hard wearing because it is going to be immediately covered. Just needs to be something that could be applied to a fresh self level compound without too much/any prep.
