Which Electric Heater?
Discussion
Morning all
Have an office that is around 700 sq feet. Always used electric heaters as we have solar panels, so effectively free.
Been using heaters similar to this:

The couple we have from 3 or 4 years ago are fine, but the new ones keep breaking and the final straw was the one that caught fire this morning...
Basically, looking for any suggestions for an electric heater that can be left on low overnight (so the office isn't stupidly cold in the morning) and then a bit warmer in the day. Thinking of moving over to oil filled radiators... but any other suggestions would be appreciated
Thank you

I’d go oil filled. I can’t prove this but the heating element is unlikely to be glowing red hot and I think that extreme heat and cooking cycle is what may well be causing your failures. The element cooler in oil and the oil will also damp the heat / cool cycles. We used a low powered oil heater in a baby’s bedroom just to keep the temperature steady overnight and it worked well.
