Corner cabinet location challenge
Discussion
I'm looking for a corner unit for the hall and was rather taken by this: https://www.wayfair.com/furniture/pdp/lark-manor-k...
I thought Wayfair would be global but this unit only seems available in the US. I found another supplier but neither will ship to the UK.
Can any wily PHer find this product on sale in the UK?

Not found any for sale here in the UK but...

Both ship to here but failing that, if in no rush any you buy can be shipped to someone like STS Imports and have it come over in one of their containers

Thanks, I wonder if that includes VAT and import duty? But at £704.11 it's starting not to be worth it, and I think the other place will be the same. But it does say it's made in China so it's odd it's only sold in the US.TownIdiot said:
I reckon you'd find something very similar at an antiques place.
I sometimes go past the huge antiques emporium in Ely so will have a snout round there next time.Plan B is to start with a kitchen curved base unit with door (£70 on eBay) and figure out how to stop it looking like a kitchen curved base unit...

Too tall really, but the mystery shelf with holes labelled in days of the week is intriguing!LooneyTunes said:

Loads cheaper as well.
… or better still, an auction house. Loads cheaper as well.
They appear in loads of auctions and go for peanuts (OP would have to try very hard to get to even 25% of the price of the one he posted).

Last time I was in this place, they had something very similar for £20, all it needed was a good clean.

Not a surprise. Round me they rarely get much, if anything, over an opening bid. Probably the least in demand of all of the brown furniture?https://thedepartmentalstore.co.uk/
I recently tried to get rid of a corner cabinet on behalf of my father in law, excellent condition and nice quality though triangular in shape not a quadrant. I live in a town that is famous for its antique furniture shops and auction houses.
Local antique shops not interested at any price. Auction houses said not even worth listing as wouldn’t attract any bids. Literally couldn’t even give it away.
So, as said above, have a look around and you might find something going for an absolute song.

Just to echo comments above, we’ve just tried getting rid of genuine Victorian brown furniture; wardrobes, drop side tables, drawers etc…. No one in the trade wanted them. In the end literally gave them away on Facebook marketplace as we needed shot of it all. Those corner units will be pennies if not free on there. Defo try marketplace
