Under stairs cabinet runners for storage
Discussion
I’m looking for some recommendations of a runner for our cupboard under the stairs.
I’ve fitted these that fit straight to the floor and extend by a metre allowing access.

I’ve fixed some mdf to the top and added some storage compartments. It’s not that heavy however as it extends it doesn’t hold the weight and not only drags on the floor it needs a good pull to get out and shove to get back in.
There is not 100kgs on there but I think this weight rating reduces as it extends.
Has anyone fitted something that ideally is floor mounted and can hold a bit of weight?
Thanks!

I've used both companies, but not the heavier rated runners, the 45-50kg ones are very well made though, and a lot cheaper than the Amazon link...

No recommendations I'm afraid but I have a job in the offing and have been looking for some heavy duty runners that will run out over a metre.
It seems heavy drawer runners like this are categorised as container slides and this company offer a pretty comprehensive range.

These, available in many lengths, might be suitable.

Can you drop some photos of what you've done?
We have a large understairs cupboard, with a normal door into it, but lots of the space is wasted, or stuff thrown to the back. I've like to section off a small part of the full length cupboard access through the door, then open the rest of the stairs and replace with pull out drawers etc.
This sort of idea.

If you look on YT or Facebook Reels there are loads of examples of what can be done:We have a large understairs cupboard, with a normal door into it, but lots of the space is wasted, or stuff thrown to the back. I'm currently installing 2 pairs of the Sliding Systems non locking runners. They're nicely made, heavy with a smooth action. Just as good as Accuride if not better and a lot less money.
2 pairs of 44 inch runners cost £280.00 delivered
