Dehumidifier - Dead?

SWMBO came downstairs earlier complaining she'd just got changed and now her foot was wet. Naturally eyes went to our potty training toddler, but the offending wet patch had zero odour.
Anyway an hour later I'm still on the trail of what caused this moist issue and discovered our dehumidifier leaking.
Its an ElectriQ 12L model, about 2 years old.
Water was still draining into the tray, but it was also pouring out of the upper housing. The drip pipe for going into the train didnt appear to be blocked.
I've added an image below, red being the pipe exit and the green where water was coming from.
I'm assuming its going to the old dehumidifiers home?

I have the same thing, on a different model of dehumidifier, except it was soaking into the carpet, it probably did more damage than it prevented 
I did manage to fix it temporarily, by giving it a thorough clean, but it didn't last long. I had planned to strip it down over the summer, following instructions from YouTube, but life got in the way, and I just brought a new dehumidifier, and am stricter about cleaning this one out.

Have you checked the drain hole is clean / clear ? sounds daft but mine was partly clogged with dust
it wouldn't drain quick enough try a straw or cotton bud to clean the drain hole
There was some fluff around the entire back of the unit but not enough for that and it wasnt in the pipe. Overall fluff removed balled up was barely a petit pois , far from a marrowfat. I have cleaned it out regular around the openings and filters with a vac using a brush attachment. it wouldn't drain quick enough try a straw or cotton bud to clean the drain hole

Ours goes into auto defrost and drains into the bottom - we've had it just over 2 years and its been in location for 7-8 months now. It was a replacement item the first one failed on 11 months. Noted some of the fins along the bottom are bent, but its not been moved etc.
I have exactly the same unit and exactly the same problem every now and again in the past.
When you remove the white panel/filter that you have removed in that photo, make sure that the filter mesh is clear...use a brush to clear it. If it gets blocked it slows the airflow and does not carry the condensed water off into the tray.
Also, the black drain tube you have circled blocks up with fluff....poke a cotton bud up it to clear it out. Every couple of months I take the whole unit down to the workshop and give the coils a good blow out with compressed air with one of them nozzles you use for blowing up airbeds and the like...a good blast around it all clears out the drains too and it now never gives me any bother.

Thanks for this - I'll give it another 24-48h to dry out, do more hoovering, check the pipe and then try running it, potentially in a big tray to catch any water this time....
