So to the collective - I have bought a house with a large timber shed attached - to be the workshop I have always needed - however the inside is covered in OSB. I would like to install some decent workshop tiles (think duratile or similar etc) and am I correct in thinking I can’t just slap these on top of the OSB flooring? Damp/mould etc….
What would be the best way to seal and prevent the damp?

I sealed my OSB shed floor with some waterbased floor varnish which was a bit past it's use by date.
A few bits in it, so no good for the dining room floor.
That's worked well.
The potential problem with sealing a floor then putting tiles down is that any damp which gets under the tiles will stay there.
I've got a few offcuts of old lino which protect the shed floor from messy jobs, I've had to lift them and clean under a few times when messy jobs have got a bit out of shape etc.Doesn't seem to have done the floor any harm.
I was careful (obsessive?) about sealing the edges of the OSB.
