UPVC Hinge Pin

The pin should just push back down then put some graphite lubricant on it.
Might take some jiggling as it'll probably have disengaged at the bottom so might not be aligned.
Cap is probably still lying on the ground nearby.
Thanks mate, I couldn’t find the cap, now trying to find replacements. Might take some jiggling as it'll probably have disengaged at the bottom so might not be aligned.

Yep but undo the allen screw on the centre hinge first.
Perfect worked perfectly, thanks for your assistance, didn’t know about the grub screw. Now trying to find replacement caps.

No problem buddy
As regards the cap i think you'd struggle to buy them on their own and at the end of the day only keeps the rain out. I think this is the hinge you have........

Might be worth grabbing one of these as a spares kit then. Thank you.

Hi OP
Just for info those door hinges are quite old hat now and not very secure compared with many modern ones.
If you want to bolster security you can fit a product called a dog bolt that is a two part product that fits in the door rebate so is not seen when the door is closed.
A company called GT products in Tewkesbury stock ones compatible with door system. GT will need to know which door system it is and by chance I can identify it from photo as Duraflex Diamond.
The Guardian is the product you require and it doesn’t need any chopping in to fit.

The hinge side tends to be the week point on PVCU doors as most locks are now very substantial but by using a product such as above or similar you can really bolster security.
