Shower control drip- what flexible silicone?

I think its from a joint, possibly needs silicone? That's flexible so not grout (sorry I'm like the anti of someone capable of DIY...)

What flexible sticky silicone can I buy/use that's also waterproof?

Ptfe tape or a rubber washer generally on /in threads on shower connections. Plumbers sealing paste on joints etc. Where is your leak on a pipe or from the fitting

Not in the pipes - from the mixer unit to I think its on a metal flexi cord

Rubber washer generally on a flexible hose connection. Have you tightened it up first? The flexible hose may be split and need replacing?

If its the flexi hose then it may well be split this often happens when they get old as people tend to twist them up when showering. Easy to replace as they are generally standard.

It could just be loose as suggested though.

Does the OP mean that the leak is from a flexi pipe suppying the mixer as opposed to the flexi pipe to the shower head?

Mixer unit - i think its the big bolt on the hot water side - tightened
