Excuse the ignorance ...

Can postcrete be used to fill a triangular space about 1.2m wide by 3m (terminating in a point)?

It wouldn't be walked on, it just a gash bit of land between two drives.

Probably - but that sounds quite big - why would you not just mix up some concrete in a wheel barrow for a space that big ?

Just mix up some concrete in a wheel barrow or buy some bags of ready mix concrete.

I guess it could be, but that's a hell of a lot of bags!

Thanks all.

Seemed like an easy option, probably cheaper to get someone to do it for me with concrete or ideally artificial grass.

It's currently scrappy grass, so needs digging out anyway (not by me)

In my experience, postcrete will go off too quickly for you to be able to get it nice looking.

Why not find a local volumetric concrete supplier. Wagon turns up and mixes the ingredients and pours the mixture into your wheelbarrow. Probably batter to have more than one wheelbarrow and mate to keep the flow going.

The base for our oil tank was made that way.

This sounds like the kind of job that you need a passing concrete truck driver to do in the style of some of the caravan-dwelling community who were always seemingly passing my parents house in the 1980s and had "some spare tarmac on the wagon". hehe

Hopefully nowadays you can pre-book it from a reputable supplier and get a decent job for a good price rather than a botch job under the threat of menaces!
