Trying to silicone a wall but its not 90 degrees so getting excess out of one side of the tool.

Anyone got any tips on how to deal with this? Doing my head in!

TIA

Smoothing tools come in a range of angles. They normally have some flex too…

Yeah its just beyond the flex point, so probably something like 94 degrees or something daft

I used the small blue tool which just about was ok as it was a short run, but next I need to do c.3m long run and the tiles are >90 degrees again.

I also need to use the little grout rafts too.... so makes it even worse.

Might have to be something like that but my OCD probably cant deal with 2 different size runs of silicone, all needs to be 8mm!!

The silicone tool I use is not 90 degrees.

So when you do the vertical side it doesn't touch the bottom and vice versa.

So do you need to do 2 passes?

Yes. One pass on the vertical and one on horizontal. Gives an excellent finish.

Split the difference and just do very short lengths so you do not get a build up on the tool.
