Been promoted to head of lighting here at home

Does anyone have any intel in this style of lighting

H05RNH2-F

Seems like it should be relatively cheap and robust as you presumably repair etc as you go

Guessing it’s relatively safe if used in conjunction with a modern consumer unit with its various safety features?

That's just a flat mains cable.

I've got a few 12V lights.
The voltage drop in long cables can matte with 12V, but there's lots of 12V bulbs which are actually 10 to 32V with internal regulation.

Depends how muchlight you want really.

This company sells top quality festoon lighting. ( I have bought 4 sets in the last few years and they are top quality)

These kind of things are way cheaper and not high quality.
(Again I have bought several over the last couple of years and had no problems (for a fraction of the cost)
