Hi all.

I know nothing about trees but the colour change in my tree is causing me concern. Is the tree dying and anything I can do please?

It looks much like a Leylandii and a chunk of it has died for some reason. You can cut it out and the rest of the tree should be OK, or leave it for now and see what happens.

It's usually caused by drought or root damage.

That brown bit won't come back, probably wind burn, you could cut it out but it would look st.

Horrible things that get out of control quickly. Probably your neighbour trying to kill it.
