1.5w mirror topped E14. Originally from Ikea.

I’ve found these to be perfect for our TV room, warm, dim… lovely in lamps.

Everything else ive tried is far too bright, but now it seems Ikea are doing them any more!

Cant locate an equivalent :/

"e14 led mirror bulb" finds as many of those as you could possibly want.

That’s a completely different level of light output.

doh, missed the 1.5w.

4w mirrored, or 1.5w. Combining both, I see the problem now.

Ya, its very annoying. 2200k also

They give a lovely cinema/speakeasy type light with no glare when you look over the rim of the shade and light cast down (due to mirror) … just perfect.

Expensive, but there's an obvious solution.

They’re called ‘crown silver’

You want an extra warm white to get that colour temp, 18mA is 4 watts though

Try putting she colour temperature, number of lumens and cap type into eBay and see what you get. I feel your pain btw: I hate harsh LEDs, so typically I’m buying things around 2300K and the previous owner of my house was obsessed with 12v halogens, however when he did the downlighters outside, half were 12v and half 240v! Eventually managed to get matching Osram LEDs from a place in Germany via eBay.

You may have to settle for a gold tinged lamp in order to get the mellow glow you want > https://www.any-lamp.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?q...

Yes, as it happens they go down to 2200K and you can have them as dim as you like.

That looks almost identical spec - I like that the first review says it’s too dim!

I guess you could even paint the top silver if desired.

Thanks all!

These one fitted the bill very nicely. Not much perceptible difference to the original and crucially had the mirror crown.
