Everything you need to know about Building in a book
Discussion
Whilst clearing out the loft I came across this weighty tome:
2 1/2" thick & 1.5kg of all the knowledge needed to be a builder. In 1958. If you wanted to know roofing lead was £142 5s per ton in Birmingham, it's in there.
The trouble is, what to do with the book? I have no need of it & it's been stored away for years. it seems a shame to just dump it in the recycling bin. I suppose the same is true of many books that were once useful but are now just curiosites.
