Whilst clearing out the loft I came across this weighty tome:

2 1/2" thick & 1.5kg of all the knowledge needed to be a builder. In 1958. If you wanted to know roofing lead was £142 5s per ton in Birmingham, it's in there.

The trouble is, what to do with the book? I have no need of it & it's been stored away for years. it seems a shame to just dump it in the recycling bin. I suppose the same is true of many books that were once useful but are now just curiosites.

Is there anything in it giving advice on how to stop plaster falling off your ceiling? There may be an interested party on this thread if so.
