Zero wall recliner couch

I'm thinking about getting a zero wall recliner couch to save space in my living room. The idea of being able to recline without needing to pull the couch away from the wall sounds perfect, but is it too good to be true?
Are they comfortable compared to regular recliners, and is the mechanism reliable?
Anyone have experience with these? Is it worth the investment or just a marketing gimmick?
