Hi, we are refurbishing some great quality wardrobes as they are a old fashioned and need an update..

I have ordered new antique mirrored glass for the existing glass panels and the whole lot is being resprayed by a professional company in a couple of weeks. The beading on the glass comes off easily with a Stanley knife and a little nudge, but I am not sure on the right tool to use to pin back the beading.

There are 3 very fine <1mm nails/pins in each side together with a touch of silicone to hold the glass firm.

Looking online I can see 1mm pins and push pin drivers like this

Is this the sort of thing I need to use to avoid damage to the new mirrors, which were not cheap!!

Thank you
James

Time to buy a 23g nail gun - makita do a great 18v one - This could be the perfect start to a slippery power tool slope.

Or just buy pins, a 1/2” pin hammer and nail punch

The nail gun seems to be exactly what I need, perfect, its what they must have used originally. I also have a compressor so may look at air powered ones..

Thank you

Glue them with a tiny bit of silicone and forget the pins
