Moving nest 3rd gen thermostat from wall to stand
Discussion
Hi, as per the tutor really, need to move nest thermostat from wall to stand. It's a 3rd gen thermostat and am in the UK so no remote sensors unfortunately.
I will need the stand but what other things do I need to do? Do I need to change wiring in heatlink and also any suggestions in what to do with wall plate and wires coming out. YouTube is surprisingly not throwing up any how to videos on this..
Thanks for reading.

The thermostat itself will just continue to work with no changes needed and will happily run on USB power (micro USB)
The wires from the heatlink to the thermostat are simply to power the thermostat and are 12V. They don't do anything over than provide power and can be disconnected at both ends.
