Disguising white cable on brick
Discussion
So after three hours fitting two outside lights and hiding the white cable behind the barge boards quite successfully. I am told by the wife she does not like the 30cm of cable from the soffit to the light fitting.
Whereas this is in my view grounds for instant divorce after 36 years marriage , I am prepared to investigate something to disguise the white wire on the plain brick .
Anyone got any suggestions or ways to do this , or shall I just get divorced?

Why didn't you run it in black cable? White sounds like it would stand out a lot.
It's near 30m of white all on white soffit and barge boards , all quite hidden on the white . Black or brown on the white would look bad .It's three bits of cable on the brick 30 cm long .
That's why I used white .

You could trunk the cable, paint the cable, tape wrap it, get some coloured heat shrink sleeving, run it internally and through the wall behind the fitting, take it down…
Ignore for a few weeks.
A) She'll get used to it find something else to worry about. jobs a goodun
B) Not get used to it, and bring it up on a regular basis, leave it a bit longer until A) applies.
If she starts divorce proceedings make sure you include the outside lights in the settlement and take them with you.
