I walk past this extension on the school drop. I'm mesmerised at this brick work. Thought I'd share for general interest!

The fact they’re not using Blake’s tells me all I need to know.

Hopefully they’ll re position the down pipe over the join to take your eye off it , that said , once you’ve seen it .

Pretty decent brick match but the mortar colours are a bit off, the bricks must be different sizes as the beds look about right. It doesn't look to be tied in as the gap looks tight for a wall starter, can’t tell from the photo though. It's rough, but so is the original house.

A quick google brings up blakes profiles which seem to be an edge profile used to make sure the brickwork is straight as it is built. The pic seems to show that the builder has fixed a length of softwood to the wall to serve that purpose.

A down pipe is never going to conceal a half brick drop… looks really shonky.

Maybe they started the other end? No excuse though. Needs to come down.
