Aga AIMS Unit repair/renewal

Hi All,

Our gas Aga was factory fitted with an AIMS control which decided to stop working about 2 years ago.

We have had the Aga on full blast ever since because we have been told by Aga that the AIMS unit is discontinued, but rumor has it that someone fixes these and resells them……..?????

Does anyone know a UK ( ideally South East) contact for this service, with current fuel prices I could probably afford to get a Limo to collect them to fit a replacement, put the engineer up in the Hilton and helicopter them home and still be better off?!

Lots of places repair boards, it’s only worth it usually when the replacement is unobtainable or thousands though as it’s a skilled and time consuming process.
