I bought a CHINT meter for my upcoming solar install.

Happy days I found one form Germany far cheaper than elsewhere.

Arrived today .... however there was a reason for the price difference .... as it did not include the CT Clamps to put round the incoming supply.

The CHINT manual gives no guidance.

Can I use any 100 amp clamp? If not what camp do I need.

Thank you

When I used to use CT's in industry, as far as I recall, the main characteristics were
Turns Ratio
Current Rating
'burden resistance' when a CT has a resistor across its output to convert the output to volts
Frequency range

I don't know what's standardised for solar use.
