Tensioned pleated blinds for bi-folds
Discussion
I have been trying to find some tensioned pleated blinds for our 2 sets of bi-fold doors, but seem to be hitting a brick wall (or pane of glass...). We have had 3 different companies out, but none seem to offer what we/I am after.
I want to avoid having a 'frame' around the blinds, thus maximising the light through the glazing, so just want a tensioned vertical lengths of string. Blinds we have been suggested (but rejected) are Perfect Fit, Intu and Coziflor. We don't want blinds that could flap around, hence wanting a tensioned option.
When the doors are fully open, there is minimal gap between the leaves.
Glazing on both doors is approx 1800mm high and width wise one door is 385mm, the other is 550mm.
We do have an existing tensioned blind on one of the doors, but after 10 years, they are starting to look a bit aged and need replacing. The original supplier, no longer sells them.
Can anyone help or suggest someone who can?

www.specialist-blinds.co.uk on the invoice, but I think we contacted them via www.conservatoryblinds.co.uk
We went for the Duette ones for better heat insulation. Only issue is that the tabs you use to raise and lower them are a bit brittle, so I've replaced two (out of twenty or so) with metal D-rings. Ask for spares!
