Lawn Sprinkler
Discussion
After much deliberation and testing of other sprinklers I settled on the one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07YSTGP17/?th...
I like the adjustability, range and precision so you get the water on the grass and not all over paving etc.

Consider these: https://www.easy-irrigation.co.uk/large-area-spray...

As soon as you’re into high output stuff, you need to make sure the hose diameter of your supply is up to it. We have some fairly long runs and the difference in output vs 1/2” and larger hose is significant. The downside is that long runs of 3/4” hose aren’t cheap but are heavy and bulky.

One of these should just about do it, depending on your mains pressure?

Your name is coming up a lot on hose searches. Favour please
Would you be kind enough to send some links for the geka connectors I need from my tap to hose, hose to stand above, stand to sprinkler above, hose to blue handheld geka gun you linked elsewhere
I have no idea and these places either don't have numbers to call or don't answer
Thank you

I eventually found somewhere and bought a Geka lance and hose/tap connectors from waterirrigation.co.uk.
Geka spray guns
Like you, I was a bit unsure about what exactly I needed, but bought what I thought was a likely guess, and it proved to be correct. It all becomes far clearer once you've got the bits infront of you!
In terms of the linked stand and sprinkler above, it appears the sprinkler comes with a 1/2" adapter, as does the stand, so you shouldn't need anything to connect the sprinkler to the stand (as far as I can tell).
The stand also says it comes with a Geka adapter, so to connect it you just need a hose with a Geka connector on the end. The Geka connectors simply connect together, so any 2 items you have with a Geka connector will connect to another (there is no male/female element to it).
So for your hose, at each end you'll need a Geka hose end connector (hose tail) appropriate for the size of your hose, so 1/2", 3/4" or 1" - these are on this page (on the supplier site I used) - Geka hose couplings . If you have 3/4" hose you'd need One of these
You'll need to secure the hose tail connector with a suitable quality jubilee clip, or better still a clamp. For 1/2 inch hose, I used these Mikalor stainless clamps from Amazon. They are available in a range of sizes so if using 3/4" hose you'd need a slightly larger size. They seem to be better than jubilee clips as you don't have a length of the metal ribbon sticking out, and they seem to clamp better rather than pinching unevenly. They're easier to tighten up as well with a small socket rather than risk stabbing yourself with a screwdriver!
Finally you need to connect your hose (with the Geka tail end already fitted), to your outside tap. What you need there depends on the tap you have, but most outdoor taps tend to have a screw fitting at the end of the spout. Mine (which I believe is fairly common) had a 3/4" screw fitting, so I needed a 3/4" female coupling - like this one
I also needed more than one hose outlet, so at the tap end, I fitted a Y connector, which, again came with Geka connectors on all 3 interfaces:

Hope this is of some help.

I've got this, probably over engineered for my use, but it's funny having a sprinkler with so many different settings. https://www.amazon.co.uk/K%C3%A4rcher-Premium-Osci...
