Garage Door Remote
Discussion
I need another remote control for my Thermador T77 sliding garage door. The current ones are Sommer handsets. Anyone here know if this’d work and how easy it’d be to program please?

My garage door installer were appalling and managed to get the install wrong several times which meant they had to replace door mechanisms and motors on more than one occasion.https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0BNQ5HDCN/ref=ox...
Each time they came out they drive with new remotes so if you send me a message I can let you have a Sommer remote.
You need to check that the frequency of your opening unit matches the remote handset (ie. are they both 433mhz?) as there are a variety of frequencies used across brands.
The only other real issue is whether your system has a "rolling code' security setup, as that will need a matching remote.
If you really get stuck, then you can buy a new receiver unit and several remotes from Ali Express for about £20 that you can attach to your motor via the terminals for the wired "bell push" button some people have in their garage.
