Has anyone here actually bought an Ebac washing machine?
Discussion
Our Hoover washing machine has given up. Before i go on the web and play pick-a-white-goods bingo, has anyone bought or had experience of Ebac washing machines. I'm thinking of the option of buying one from them, because I like the idea of a no quibble warranty for 7 years and it supports British manufacturing.
So, if you have bought, or have experience of them, I would like to hear what your opinion is.

I tried to, sadly the whole process was a bit of a disaster. Delivery dates moved around and machine eventually arrived broken. Replacement would have been another week delay.
Lost the will to live a bit in the face of inevitable domestic disappointment, charged into Currys/PC World with an empty Volvo and took home something they had in stock.
A shame, I'd like to have supported them.

Yes, I bought one and have had it for just under 3 years. My opinion (given its a washing machine; what can I say?!) it cleans my clothes very well (better than the Miele it replaced), it has tons of functions of which I use two, maximum and it has never caused me any issues. Based on this I'd have no hesitation in buying another.
HTH! Jezza
They keep popping up in my ad feeds (must be my age) and I must admit I've been quite impressed with what they're offering (yep, definitely an age thing!) so would certainly be looking at them if/when the time comes. One of the few to accept hot fill if that's of interest/use. It's mostly the UK design and manufacturer that appeals to me though.
Am old post, but hey. Ebac got some good reviews for build quality and repairability. For example they don't use sealed drums so the bearings can be replaced, the inside is well laid out and parts are easily available, see this review from an engineer who died repairs: https://youtu.be/c1c470Rzvr8
If the ebac dehumidifiers I've had for years are anything to go by, the washing machines will be great.

I'm here because out current washing machine has increasingly loud bearings and as I understand it is a seal drum, the Ebac as one of the few two-part drum machines appears. Plus as a British mechanical engineer I feel I should support UK design and manufacture.
The dual/hot fill option seams to make sense given we have a 250l hot tank 8ft away, even if that is currently heated with a gas fired boiler.
Sticking point is they are £825-850 vs £400-600 for most other 9-10kg mid spec machines. (Ie AEG/Bosch/LG with time delay etc)

Epic lurking. If the ebac dehumidifiers I've had for years are anything to go by, the washing machines will be great.
