For quick & easy clean-ups, whether in a car or in the home.

Battery-powered only & literally hold in the hand.

Let's say £50 & under . . .

Go . . .

Nothing under £50 will be much use.

Can vouch for the £60 one,Got the on that's the model before that, but still the same basically.
It's great and very useful to have the flexible hose when doing the car and getting into small spaces.
Had it about 3 years I think, 10/10 from me.

I've got a Vax Gator which is good.Look for the 12v version rather than the 10v version.

ETA Just had a look - its the H86 GAC. Was about £30 from Amazon IIRC.

A soft brush and dustpan works better than any of these hand vacs. Budget handheld vacs suck like a disinterested hooker.

Avoid the stiff bristle brushes, and you'll be surprised at how well a soft brush clears crud up. Less than a tenner for a nice one.

These cheap ones seem to have a 12’ish hour charge time for a 15 minute run time. Think I might have to consider lithium powered models as well!

If you have the batteries the 18v Makita one is surprisingly good.

I get the feeling outright cleaning performance isnt a priority here. Not a £50 one but I have a small cordless upright hoover that cost me around £90 at the time, a 'noname' Amazon special, I can give the house a quick once over on a full charge, it has a small collector so needs emptying regularly if picking up dog hair, the corded upright I also have far outperforms it. But as a grab and go or for little spills its perfect.

I wouldnt bother with a Black and Decker at the price, may get a much better unit for far less on Amazon as long as you read the reviews.

You're welcome to it before I put it in the bin. In fairness if you want to half clean half a car footwell it's just the ticket.

I'd stump up a little more for a Shark WandVac or similar if I were you.

I bought a 60 quid handheld from Aldi on a whim. Dyson rip off

It outperforms both my plug in shark and wireless dyson. Both about 4 years old and I’ve spent close to a grand including filters etc total on both.

Just going to buy disposables from Aldi from now on!

We've got a handheld dyson from about 2013 (dc34 animal I think). Apart from a few aftermarket batteries, it's been really good. Can't remember what the price was, definately wasn't less then £50 though!

I think your budget is a bit low for anything decent!
