Found a DeWalt SDS drill, any got any information on it?
Discussion
I found this thing in the garage during a clear out, tested it out and it works, and is bloody powerful.
The red box is full of huge drill bits, and the red pot has what looks like copper grease in it.
A friend of mine said it was an SDS drill but I have don't have the room or any use for it, but I have no idea what its worth, might pay for some lovely V-Power for a week or two!

I'm sorry but that looks to be a fake as well. You may get a £5 for it. If it works, I think I would sling it back in the garage, you may find a use for it one day. You can buy a chuck converter, which converts the SDS back to normal jaws. That may give you a bit more use for it.
I think it's just an early model, when that was made I don't think the Chinese were making copies. The chuck converter will only be okay if it has hammer-off facility.
He also says it works.
You don't think it's look exactly the same drill as this then?

There are a dozen brands that sell this dill under different names, I don't think Dewalt is one of them. I would think this is a British attempt at a fake, it's not even got the right logo. The Chinese can be quite difficult to spot.
