Pressure Washers
Discussion
Hi guys. For £250 budget what would you get?
I can get a petrol one which seems to blow the electric ones away for power, flow etc but is it going to break down after 5 minutes?
I guess it’s going to be louder too, but then I know the electric ones ain’t quite.

I bought the Easy P50 last month. It’s excellent. From B&Q medium bundle is £189
My Karcher K399 died after 15 years when it fell off a step and cracked some plastic internals. Repairable, but given the age and cost I couldn't be arsed.
Replaced with a low-end nilfisk, which seems to have similar performance but is basically a joy to use by comparison. MUCH lighter, pressure hose untwists easily, etc. Makes me wonder why I persevered with the Karcher for so long.

AVA much much better
My trusty old Kärcher died at the weekend, and it's replacement is going to be an AVA, the Easy P50 seems like all the machine I need and very reasonable priced at £190 at B&Q, doesn't come will loads of accessories but being Kärcher fitment I don't them. ![rotate](/inc/images/rotate.gif)

Thats exactly the model I bought. Its a revelation compared to my old Nilfisk
Can you go into more detail as to what spec your old Nilfisk was, and in what way the Easy P50 is better? The Ava is better as follows
Longer hose so don’t need to move machine around
Hose better quality less prone to kinking
Hose winds up on reel without needing to be disconnected
Lance nozzles and gun much better quality in fact over all it feels better quality right down to the on off switch
Stubby gun
Longer warranty
Quieter
Does a better job on the patio
More stable
Variable length lance
Better cable management
