Are you allowed to build a shed and live in it?

I like that, soon be able to brighten up the bedrooms.
Is there some reason why it's not being sold as a 5 bed ?

My parents have a dormer bungalow that has 2 beds upstairs and 2 beds down. One was my nan's lounge, and now a study. If they were to sell up, they'd definately call it a bedroom.

This one might need a bit of a clean.

I do too. Seems expensive for Stafford
Brocton is fairly des-res in Stafford terms although the other side of the village faces onto Cannock Chase which is much more where you would want to be for £1m.

I agree the house is nice enough, just some of the decor that’s a bit challenging boxedin.

Trying not to dwell on pic 5, that's an interesting collection of clutter.

Particular highlight is the garage door!

Those photographs are dreadful
They wouldn't entice me to make further enquiries.

Those stickers on the garage door can be peeled off in a couple of minutes so not really the stuff of nightmares.

Surely this:

https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/149396156#/...

should be in the pawn thread, I hear you ponder.

Well, watch the aerial shots on the promo video (and photo 23) carefully.

I reckon they've pissed off the neighbouring landowner. After all, the house itself has quite a few issues so you'd be buying it for the view. And, in ten years, there won't be a view.

Looks like a normal tree planting project.

I do notice though this is another advert using photoshopped outside views through the windows. They take the interior photo, then take an outside view photo and paste the brighter outside view into the windows.

Isn't that just a naughty corner for when one of the wives fails to walk far enough behind you in the food hall and needs a time out to contemplate one's behaviour?

I don't personally have an issue with the photo tweaking so that it shows the view out - it will be bracketing and/or HDR camera settings to give different exposures that are combined later.

"...GREAT POTENTIAL FOR CAPITAL GROWTH..." given that the ceiling price for the area seems to be 280k there doesn't seem to be a lot of wriggle room to make a lot of ££

Maybe it’s because there’s no ceiling on this house!
